My father, Robert B. lived at Rejuvenations Assisted Living for the last several years of his life. He had Alzheimers Disease and had lived at several nursing homes prior to comimg to Rejuvenations. Our family had been terribly unhappy with the facility where he had lived just prirr to Rejuvenations. When my mother and I visited Rejuvenations and met Carol Browne and her caretaking staff, I was literally moved to tears of joy to think of the imporved life that my father could have in this home. Because that's what it is : a home. Unlike the sterile, cold environment he'd been in, Rejuvenations was loving, warm, positive and predictable.
For his remaining years, he recieved kind care. He was kept clean and warm and well-fed by a wonderful staff. The folks who worked there respected him, and kept him companu. When we visited, we were welcomed as family into a home.
As my father entered into his final decline and death , his caregivers were very sympathetic and comforting to our family, and kept everyone well-informed. I know that at the end, as he fortot much of his prior life, the women who were his primary caregivers at Rejuvenation had become his family. I am greatful.

The final stages of my husbands life were uplifted by the respectful and loving care administered by the staff at Rejuvination Assisted Living. The home atmosphere and appealing fresh prepared meals did much to alleviate the anxiety previously evident in nursing homes. My husbands final three years were made relaxed and happy as he gazed lovingly at his loving caregivers and companions.

I would like to thank all of you for the quality of your care and the great warmth, understanding and generosity that you showed so generously. It was wonderful to sense this and to be able to count on it. We are all very grateful to you.

The wrenching decision to take your mother or father out of his or her home and place them in a new and strange environment is difficult and painful for everyone. A few visits to nursing homes and institutions for the elderly make it seem like you will never find a warm, loving (and clean) place for you parent.
I am writing to ease your anxiety: Rejuvenation is a wonderful, caring, small, clean assisted living facility staffed by dedicated professionals who truly treat your loved one as one fo their own. It was a real home for our father for the last 9 months of his life.
The staff is very loving, patient, skilled and upbeat. In addition to having run Rejuvenation for nearly four years, the nursing staff has many years of experience in the healthcare field. Did I mention the staff each has their own delightful sense of humor which, as you can imagine, is a critical ingredient of any home caring for our aging loved ones.
The home is tastefully decorated and kept impeccably clean without smelling of disinfectant. And, thanks to the many large windows and skylights, the house is full of natural light.
Whenever we came to visit, we always felt welcome and they made it very easy to have quality time with our father. And because it is so small (they are licensed for 5 residents), it doesn't feel like an institution but more like a home.
Despite many misgivings and much trepidation on our part about moving our father out of his home of 60 years, Rejuvenation made the move not only easier but also pleasant and ultimately rewarding and supportive.
If you are considering Rejuvenation as a new home for your elderly parent, you will not find a place any better.
Sincerely,
Helen W. and family

My father passed away on October 29, 2012 after a very long and extended bout with leukemia, dementia and blindness. In his last years on this earth, he had the best care anyone could ever imagine when we were able to admit him into Rejuvenation.
My dad was a brilliant man. He was a physicist, and engineer and an inventor. He was amazing. His brain was amazing. Unfortunately, disease took over his body and his mind in the last years of his life.
Due to the extent of his illness, we resorted to admitting him to two different assisted living facilities/nursing homes, that failed tremendously, as each resulted in his admittance to the hospital for physical injuries not related to his leukemia, dementia or blindness. After the horrific treatment at the first and the second assisted living facilities, we were at wits end. But, just in the nick of time, we were fortunate enough to find Rejuvenation. Rejuvenation opened their doors, and had an opening for him. As a result of their tremendous care, we were no longer worried if he was clean, comfortable and dignified, because Rejuvenation kept him clean, comfortable and as healthy as one can for a dying patient. Rejuvenation provided the most dignity to my dad that anyone can even ever imagine.
Rejuvenation treated my dad with dignity for his entire three plus year stay. His health continuously declined, and yet Rejuvenation, right up to when he passed away, kept the family completely up to date as to his health status and situation, no matter what.
No matter when he received visitors, he was clean and comfortable. Rejuvenation was able to appropriately work with the demands of a patient with dementia, leukemia and blindness, and no matter how belligerent he became, they were so overly successful in their care of him. I know there were things that he did to the staff that were not right, but they always made me feel that everything was ok. In other words they took major care of my dad, no matter what his illness caused him to do.
I could tell, in fact everyone could tell that Rejuvenation made him so very comfortable during his declining years. It was amazing the high and exceptional amount of care provided in comparison to the other two assisted living facilities/nursing homes, we were originally selected. Even when he was belligerent, they were able to deal with his belligerence, and thank God, they did not ask us to remove him. Instead, they found so many creative and ingenious ways to take amazing care of him through the declining years of his life.
They kept him clean and comfortable the entire time. Something that other assisted living facilities were completely unable to accomplish. I highly recommend Rejuvenation to anyone who has a parent or loved one that needs significant care, to contact Rejuvenation. You will not worry if your loved one is cared for properly and with dignity, because they will be cared for in a manner that is without word, wonderful. Rejuvenation will provide over the top super care and the utmost dignity to your loved one in your and their time of need.
Thank you Carol, Ingrid, Marilyn and everyone who helped!
Best Regards,
Ellie

After using several nurses from the Care.com network and talking with my grandmother's doctors, the family felt that it was time for full time care and we needed a place that could truly offer that at a reasonable price. We were introduced to Carol Brown and Rejuvenation Assisted Living and it was the best decision that we made for our grandmother. We were able to call and visit almost anytime we were able and she was often engaged in activities within the facility to keep her active. My grandmother suffered from dementia and depression, but after just 2 - 3 months of being around other seniors and the caring staff, she seemed more vibrant and happy than she had been in the past several years. Rejuvenation took her to her doctor's appointments, ordered and picked up her medications and became an always present family member over the year that my grandmother stayed with them before her passing in February 2014. I would and have recommended their services to others due to the grate work that they did for and with my grandmother and our family will forever be grateful.
